Dalmatia

Dalmatia is a region in southern Croatia that covers four counties: Zadar, Šibenik-Knin, Split-Dalmatia and Dubrovnik-Neretva. It stretches along the Adriatic Coast and includes the islands and the sub-Mediterranean interior.

Northern Dalmatia gravitates towards the cities of Zadar and Šibenik, Central Dalmatia to the city of Split, and Southern Dalmatia to the city of Dubrovnik. Dalmatia is connected to the rest of Croatia via roads.
